When we choose to follow a spiritual path, we make a choice. We choose to do the inner work as we recognise the pull. There may have been an event in our lives that has encouraged this new way of being. Or we may have simply recognised our need for a deeper understanding.
Whatever the reason, we must accept that not everyone around us will feel the same way. Not everyone around us will be capable of meeting us on this journey. And that is ok! There is no need for judgement, anger or resentment. I believe that it is our responsibility to be a beacon of light regardless. And those who are ready will be open to witnessing this new version of us. And those who are not ready will find their spiritual path when the time is right for them.
